Princess Baggage & Luggage Policy

Princess does not publish a strict bag count. Princess does not publish a per-bag weight limit or a strict piece count. Its Passage Contract states guests may bring "a reasonable amount of luggage on board containing only Your personal effects," including suitcases, trunks, valises, and bags. Baggage liability is capped at two bags per guest on sailings of 14 days or fewer and three bags on sailings of 15 days or longer. A completed Princess luggage tag must be attached to each checked bag, and checked luggage is collected on embarkation day and delivered to the stateroom.

Yes. You carry one bag onto the ship yourself at embarkation. Keep medications, travel documents, valuables, and swimwear in it, because checked bags are delivered to your stateroom several hours after you board.

Checked bags are collected at the pier on embarkation day and delivered to your stateroom door over the following few hours, often not until late afternoon or evening. Pack anything you need for the first few hours, including medication and a swimsuit, in the bag you carry on.
